This years dinner was a big success. Between the jokes, stories, and memories, you could tell they all shared one common purpose… to have fun. This was especially so when the drinks started pouring and the checkbooks opened. The auction at the end of the night was so much fun.

Hello to my ol’ Trackers. This is Don Spencer, CICO on Crew 2 (and others who could tolerate me).
We served 1964-68. Our first (of two) sons was born on Guam. He is now 60. I’m 86.
Another AEWRON’er said I’m now at the age matching my IQ, also 86.
You may remember me as the (then skinny, now fat) Ensign who court-martialed a LCDR while there.
After Guam, I was sent to Naval Advanced Jet Training at NAS Kingsville TX. Taught flight simulators and Junior Officer Leadership to Navy & Marine junior officers (F/TF-9 Cougar jets).
Stupidly, I got out and had a career in advertising and marketing in corporate management.
Sue & I now live in The Villages FL. 47 golf courses, 125 rec centers w/pools, 12 country clubs. (A 55+ community).
I am still in entertainment as “Doktor Don,MD*. NO – not a Med Dr, but Mentally Deranged, Morally Deplorable. Standup comedy for four decades. Some TV with celebrities such as Bob Barker, Art Linkletter, et al. Maybe someday at a VW-1 meeting …. If the standards for speakers is low, I could be on the agenda and annoy y’all.
